For more information on Android, please visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.android.com\/\">http:\/\/www.android.com\/.<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The first step to set up your emails is to find and select&nbsp;<strong>Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup1.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nco-info-block\"><p class=\"nco-info-block-content\"><strong>Info:<\/strong> Some Android devices may have a different symbol for\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong>, so you will need to find the settings option on your device.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Next scroll down your Settings menu until you get to the Accounts section, at the bottom of the accounts section please select&nbsp;<strong>Add account<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup2.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now select the&nbsp;<strong>Email<\/strong>&nbsp;option to add a new Email account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup3.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the&nbsp;<strong>Set up an email<\/strong>&nbsp;page enter your&nbsp;<strong>email address<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Password<\/strong>&nbsp;then select&nbsp;<strong>Manual setup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup4.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the next screen select the type of account you are setting up, in this article we are setting up a POP account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup5.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next we need to enter our incoming server settings.<br><br>Your Username and Password are as you have set up in your Online Control Panel, if you are unsure of your Username and or Password please see this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.names.co.uk\/support\/articles\/how-to-change-your-email-password\/\">guide to reset your Password<\/a>.<br><br>The other settings will be as follows:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>POP server &#8211; pop3.hosts.co.uk<\/li><li>Security type &#8211; SSL<\/li><li>Port &#8211; 995<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have entered your details click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/popandroidemailsetup6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now we need to enter the SMTP details, your SMTP server will be&nbsp;<strong>smtp.hosts.co.uk<\/strong>&nbsp;only if you your have purchased Authenticated SMTP Access, if you need to purchase this product please contact our Sales team on 0345 363 363 2.<br><br>The other settings will be as follows:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Security type &#8211; SSL<\/li><li>Port &#8211; 465<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tick the box&nbsp;<strong>Require sign-in<\/strong>&nbsp;then enter your&nbsp;<strong>User name<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Password<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Username and Password are as you have set up in your Online Control Panel, if you are unsure of your Username and or Password please see this <a href=\"\/support\/articles\/how-to-reset-your-authenticated-smtp-password\/\">guide to reset your SMTP Password<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.names.co.uk\/support\/1995.html\">.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup7.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The next page of options are down to your personal preference, once you are happy with the settings click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup8.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Again the next page is down to your personal preference, once you are happy click&nbsp;<strong>Done<\/strong>&nbsp;to complete the setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/androidemailsetup9.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This article will guide you through configuring your email on an Android device.
